The Children's Center of Ohio

Providing troubled youth and their families a bridge to a valued, responsible, and productive future.

Welcome

Founded in March 1999, The Children’s Center of Ohio is a privately owned residential treatment facility located in Gallia County. We serve juvenile boys and girls ages 8 to 18 from across the state of Ohio, providing a safe, structured, and home-like environment where healing and growth take center stage.
Our program typically lasts between 6 to 12 months, with each youth progressing at their own pace. Referrals are accepted from juvenile courts, detention centers, and county agencies. Every child receives a personalized treatment plan focused on developing new behaviors, life skills, and healthy relationships.
We offer mental health counseling and drug and alcohol treatment services, tailored to meet the unique needs of each youth. Our approach is rooted in the belief that every young person has the capacity to change. Through stability, opportunity, and compassionate care, we help youth build confidence, independence, self-esteem, and respect.

Our program emphasizes family involvement, education, accountability, and community service—creating a foundation for lasting transformation and a responsible future. At The Children’s Center of Ohio, we don’t just provide treatment—we empower youth to rewrite their stories.

Let’s help children reach their full potential and make the world a better place for all.
